• Usage data — device, browser, IP address, pages viewed, and actions taken on the marketplace.

We use your information to run the marketplace and improve your experience, specifically to:

• Create and manage your account and verify farmers, buyers, and drivers.
• Process orders, hold funds in escrow, release payouts, and coordinate cold-chain delivery.
• Communicate order updates, receipts, support replies, and important service notices.
• Detect fraud, enforce our Terms, and keep the platform safe.
• Analyse usage to improve features, pricing fairness, and reliability.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed to deliver the service:

• With the other party in a transaction — for example, a buyer's delivery details are shared with the assigned driver, and a farmer's farm name is shown on listings.
• With payment processors and logistics partners to settle payments and fulfil deliveries.
• With service providers who host, secure, or support our platform under confidentiality obligations.
• Where required by law, regulation, or a valid legal request.

Payments on CheeFarms are held in escrow and released to farmers once delivery is confirmed. We use licensed third-party payment providers to process transactions. Card and bank details are handled by those providers and are not stored on our servers. We retain only the records needed to show your order and payout history.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the marketplace is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling some may affect how the site works.

We apply technical and organisational measures — encryption in transit, access controls, and regular reviews — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to reduce risk and will notify you and the relevant authority of any breach as required by law.
